JASKO Enterprises, Inc. — Load Check
Load Check — Can This Driver Make It, Legally?
Enter the driver's recent hours and the load. The check spends his hours against the miles — 11-hour driving, 14-hour window, 30-minute break, 10-hour rests, 70-hour / 8-day limit — with the time-zone change between pickup and delivery handled for you.
1 · The driver's hours
On-duty hours for each of the last 8 days (the day labels follow the pickup date). Leave a day at 0 if he was off.
2 · The load
Pickup and delivery, each in its own local time — the check converts between the time zones.
The driving plan
Reference — state rules for the run
The posted sign and the state DOT govern — these are the working references.
Truck speed limits by state— Trucker Route, built from IIHS and state DOT data. Nine states hold trucks below cars (California 55 is the widest gap).
Tire chain & snow tire laws by state— The Trucker's state-by-state guide. Colorado is the strictest: commercial vehicles must carry chains on I-70 from September 1 to May 31.
Bridge law — kingpin to rear axle maximums, by state— Big Truck Guide's state-by-state chart. California is the famous one, not the only one: about half the states cap it — California 40 ft (Caltrans: Legal Basis for Truck Restrictions), Connecticut 43, Indiana 43, New Jersey 41, New York 43 — and states measure differently, to the center of the rear axle or the axle group, so check every state on your run before you slide the tandems.
How to read it
The plan is deliberately conservative: no split-sleeper, no adverse-driving extension, a 30-minute break inside every 8 driving hours, a full 10 hours off between shifts, and the 70-hour limit watched the whole way — including the hours already worked. If the week runs out, the check shows the answer with a 34-hour restart built in, so you see both prices before you book.
