JASKO Enterprises, Inc. — Summary of Hours Worked and Hours Available

70-hour / 8-day rule (49 CFR 395.3). Planning aid only — the ELD record governs.

Summary of Hours Worked and Hours Available

The monthly hours recap on the 70-hour / 8-day rule. Enter each day's total on-duty hours; the sheet carries the rolling totals and shows the hours eligible tomorrow. Fill in the previous month's last 8 days first, so the first week of the month counts right.

The small checkbox under a day marks a completed 34-hour restart before that day — hours before it stop counting. Entries save automatically in this browser.

How it counts

  • Eligible Hours Tomorrow = 70 − total hours of the last 7 days (today included).
  • Last 8 Days is the running 8-day total — over 70 is flagged red.
  • 34-hour restart: check the box on the first day worked after a completed restart; hours before it no longer count toward the totals.

Notes

  • Planning aid only — the ELD record governs. This recap summarizes; it does not log.
  • One number per day: total on-duty hours (driving + on-duty not driving), the same as the paper recap.
  • For day-by-day planning with driving split out, use the Hours-of-Service Planner.
