JASKO operates 2024–2025 Volvo VNL 860 tractors built for long-haul work. The Legacy sleeper configuration runs a Volvo D13 at 455 horsepower with the I-Shift 12-speed automatic, a double bunk, a workstation, a large refrigerator, a power inverter, and an X-Guard deer guard. The refrigerated fleet is primarily Utility 3000R trailers. Drivers verify temperature settings, inspect trailer condition, check cargo requirements, and report equipment or temperature discrepancies promptly. Refrigerated equipment is monitored with ORBCOMM where installed and active.

The cab is your workplace and the sleeper is your home between loads. JASKO tractors carry driver controls and in-cab technology for logging, communication, and load status, with sleeper accommodations for OTR work. JASKO uses Motive electronic logging devices and road-facing safety cameras to support hours-of-service compliance, driving safety, and incident documentation. Drivers also use approved communication and electronic document tools to receive instructions, report load status, and submit paperwork. Reefer temperatures are monitored in transit.

Equipment care runs on scheduled preventive maintenance, daily vehicle inspections, timely defect reporting, and coordination with qualified repair providers. Maintenance is coordinated through the Buckeye yard, where our primary shop — an approved third-party operation — runs its mobile setup on site. When something fails away from the terminal, dispatch coordinates support so you are not left guessing.

Can I choose Volvo or Peterbilt? Assignments are based on availability and operational needs. You can discuss preferences with recruiting, but a specific model is not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed.

Is the truck assigned to me? Equipment is assigned at orientation from the available fleet and inspected with you before your first dispatch.

What happens if my equipment breaks down? Report it promptly. Dispatch and maintenance coordinate the repair — at the Buckeye yard when you are near it, and through qualified providers when you are on the road.
