JASKO Enterprises, Inc. — Hours-of-Service Plan

Hours-of-Service Planner
Plan a driver's hours days ahead. Enter the days already worked, then the days you are planning — the planner tracks the rolling weekly window and shows how much driving is available each day, when the driver runs out, and what a 34-hour restart gives back.
Booking a specific load? The Load Check spends a driver's hours against one load's miles — pickup, delivery, time zones — and answers yes, no, or only with a 34-hour restart.
| Date | Shift start | Driving hrs | On-duty not driving | Total duty | 30-min break? | 34h restart done? | Rolling window | Weekly hrs available |
Max drive today | 14h window closes | Alerts | Hrs left after day |

The limits — 49 CFR 395.3
- 11-hour driving limit after 10 consecutive hours off duty.
- 14-hour limit — no driving beyond the 14th consecutive hour after coming on duty.
- 30-minute break after 8 cumulative hours of driving (off duty, sleeper, or on-duty not driving all count).
- Weekly limit — 70 hours on duty in 8 days (60 in 7 if the carrier does not operate every day).
- 34-hour restart — 34+ consecutive hours off resets the weekly limit.
Notes
- Planning aid only — the ELD record governs. This planner predicts; it does not log.
- Mark 34h restart done on the first shift after a completed restart — the weekly window resets on that row.
- Not modeled: the adverse-driving extension (395.1(b)) and split-sleeper pairing (7/3 or 8/2). Dispatch/Safety decide those case by case.
- Prefer a spreadsheet? Use the Excel version — same math.
